All the above mentioned conditions occur as outgrowths from the skin with blood supply. 1)Moles can be present at birth or appear later. It can either be flushed to the skin or raised above the surface. Skin tags occur commonly around the back of the neck, axilla or thighs. The cause of which is not known. The factors commonly associated with it are obesity, aging and diabetes. DPNs or seborrheic keratosis are yet another skin growth condition with no particular cause. They occur as black dots or growths commonly on the cheeks around the eyes, face and neck. Aging , sunlight exposure and aging contribute to their occurrence. Warts on the other hand are infectious conditions and can spread from one place to another in the same person’s body and to other people who are in close contact. It can occur at any body part. Repeated rubbing or pickin the wart enhances the spread. Milia are epidermal cysts that appear as tiny yellow bumps commonly seen beneath the eyes. These outgrowths can be with either electrocautery or sterile needles (milia). Electrocautery removal is done under local anesthesia. The procedure is precise, quick and with less downtime.
